With more communities than ever contacting Plunkett to access our advice and support services, we are excited to promote the opportunity to join Plunkett as our Head of Finance (HoF).

This full-time position offers the right candidate an opportunity to join our Senior Management Team and ensure the strategic management of Plunkett’s finances.

The HoF will be responsible for the day to day and strategic management of Plunkett’s finance functions, providing advice to the CEO and the Board.

Reporting to the CEO you should be a qualified/near qualified CCAB accountant who is a team player and able to communicate at a range of levels. A working knowledge of Xero accounting systems is desirable.

The successful candidate should demonstrate being:
  • Positive and has a constructive outlook, with problem solving skills.

  • Proactive and motivated, with a willingness to support others.

  • Able to communicate financial information to a lay audience.

  • Prepared to listen to and learn from colleagues.

  • Able to manage and prioritise a varied workload and contribute effectively within the SMT.

  • Able to handle confidential issues with tact and be able to resolve issues in a non-confrontational manner.
