We are delighted to announce a virtual visit to a community pub for new and early stage community groups on 11th August.  Plunkett’s More than a Pub project is taking you on a virtual visit to The Ploughshare community pub in Beeston, Norfolk.

Join Plunkett business adviser Phil Harriss in conversation with Beeston Community Enterprises, the local community group running the Beeston village pub The Ploughshare, to hear about their journey to community ownership.

The hour long virtual visit will include a Q&A session for participants to put their questions to Phil and the group.

The event is perfect for newly formed community groups or those in the early stages of working towards saving a community pub.

More than a Pub

The More than a Pub project is funded by Power to Change. Under the project the Plunkett Foundation has been able to offer support to communities in rural and urban locations across England to help them save their local pub through community ownership. Due to Covid-19 the programme has been re-focused to support trading community pubs, support to new community groups is currently paused. However, we still encourage you to contact the Plunkett Team who will be happy to discuss your ideas and try to assist you through our other funded programmes.

How can I contact the organiser with any questions?

Please email info@plunkett.co.uk or call us on 01993 810730.
