We are Suma.

Suma is a wholefood collective founded in 1977 by a liberal-minded group of people who believed there was a better way, and actively set out to create it. Today we are stronger than ever. We deliver over 7,000 vegetarian, natural, responsibly sourced products to businesses and communities across the UK and internationally.

We are the largest equal pay worker co-op in Europe, working together to improve our society and support our suppliers and customers. We source the most delicious and sustainable products, inspiring change for good.

We’ve always believed in making plant-based eating easy and nutritious. From beans and pulses to vegan convenience foods, we’ve been leading the way over the years.

Suma’s own brands include a huge range of foods, from classics like organic chopped tomatoes and nothing-added peanut butter, to vegan mac n cheese and delicious plant-based pates. Our Ecoleaf home cleaning range is made from cruelty free, plant based and biodegradable products, and are almost all made in the UK. And our ALTER/NATIVE body care range, offers all-natural, plant-powered options that are good for your hair, your skin and the planet.
