Funders

Each year, it costs Plunkett more than £1 million to fund its core operations.

We work with communities to offer practical advice, support and training to help them establish and run a successful community-owned business, which are a lifeline for so many people.

Grant funding remains a critical part of Plunkett’s income mix, and we are grateful to all our funders who have enabled us to maintain and deliver our services across the UK.

Core funding from the following organisations continues to underpin our work:

  • The National Lottery Community Fund
  • Esmée Fairbairn Foundation
  • Dulverton Trust

This is complemented by programme funding from partners including the following:

  • Scottish Government
  • DEFRA
  • The Linbury Trust

We are also grateful to a wide range of Charitable Trusts and Foundations who collectively contribute a significant amount to specific areas of our work regionally or sectorially – too many to mention individually – but particular thanks to:

  • Highway One Trust for their longer-term support
  • The Worshipful Company of Innholders for their support towards our community pubs service.
