Plunkett UK is seeking up to two new Trustees to join our Board.
This is an exciting time to join Plunkett UK as we embark on the delivery of our new organisational strategy and the next chapter in our mission to strengthen community ownership across rural UK.
We’re looking for people to join our Board who share our passion for community ownership and rural communities, and who can bring:
- fresh perspectives
- sound judgement
- onstructive challenge
- a commitment to our values.
Whether your experience comes from your career, volunteering, community involvement or lived experience, we welcome your application.
As part of our commitment to strengthening the diversity of our Board, we are particularly keen to hear from:
- Younger people and those seeking their first trustee role
- People with lived experience of rural communities, including those whose experiences have been shaped by disability, poverty, ethnicity, caring responsibilities, social exclusion or other barriers to opportunity
- People from backgrounds currently underrepresented in charity governance
Previous trustee experience is not essential. We will provide a comprehensive induction programme, training and ongoing support to help you succeed in the role.
This is a voluntary trustee role. Reasonable expenses will be reimbursed.
Plunkett is committed to the application of Equity Diversity and Inclusion in everything we do. We ask that you complete a diversity monitoring form in order to monitor the effectiveness of our policies. The completion of this form is voluntary.
