Plunkett Foundation is proud to launch its latest set of reports providing an insight into the health of the community pub and community shop sectors.
Our flagship reports capture the headline trends of both sectors in 2020, and bring the stats to life with insights directly from community businesses themselves.
The reports give an overview of the short-term impacts of COVID-19, and initial insights into the long-term impacts of the pandemic.
James Alcock, Chief Executive, and Georgina Edwards, Policy & Research Manger of Plunkett Foundation, hosted a presentation of the reports with speakers from sector partners:
- Steve Dowling, Public Affairs Manager at the Association of Convenience Stores
- Paul Edgeworth, Campaigns Manager at CAMRA
- John Dawson, Head of Social Investment at Power to Change
We’re very grateful for the support of Power To Change this year’s generous sponsor of the reports and all its associated research.
Thank you to all of the community businesses who contributed to this research by completing the survey, attending focus groups, providing photos and insights. Without you, this invaluable research would not have been possible.
