A new website has been launched bringing Plunkett and 11 other leading community organisations that champion and support community action together in one place and to make it easier for community groups and organisations to find what they need. My Community – a digital platform for the community sector – is a simple way for individuals and groups to find all the latest tools, tips and ideas to achieve their aims.

Being part of My Community doesn’t change the way Plunkett delivers its services, but it makes ours and those provided by other organisations easy to find for those just beginning a community venture and other established groups looking for new support.

In recent months there has been an outpouring of community spirit across the country to support those most in need. Many are facing challenges which test the strength of their communities and want to take action to ensure they can get the services they need. Some, as individuals or in groups, have great ideas – but also need help coordinating how to make them happen. My Community brings together a wealth of information with an easy to use search facility.

Plunkett is part of My Community because we want to make it easier for local people to find the support they need and act on the issues they care about.
