Today, we represent over 800 ‘community businesses’ throughout the UK, from shops and pubs through to woodlands, farms and fisheries.

The Data Manager / Salesforce Administrator will be joining the team at the beginning of a new 5 year strategy for the charity, which was launched in September 2022. Plunkett’s ambition is to grow the rural community-owned business sector by 20% over the strategy period by 2026 and the new post holder will play a critical part in making sure our that work is informed by accurate, up to date and robust data.

The position would suit an experienced Salesforce Administrator, or someone who is looking to develop a career in data. The role includes management of Plunkett’s Experience Cloud Sites, as well as integrating applications with our Non-Profit Success Pack Salesforce CRM.

You will act as Plunkett’s Salesforce champion, promoting the benefits of maintaining good data within the team and in all aspects of the organisation’s work. As a data manager you will also help to review and monitor our communications data, ensuring that our reach and audience is reflecting our vision UK-wide.

To be successful in the role, you will be enthusiastic about Plunkett’s vision for resilient, thriving and inclusive rural communities throughout the UK and the role of community-owned businesses in helping to achieve that. You will live up to our organisational values to be inspiring, accessible, dedicated, inclusive and collaborative. You will be an excellent communicator with a proven aptitude for building solid relationships with a range of stakeholders. You will have demonstrable experience of processing data and using Salesforce systems.

A team-oriented, collaborative individual, you will demonstrate your ability to engage at all levels, and to inspire confidence in team members. Adaptable and capable of working flexibly and sharing responsibility and accountability with a colleague.  You will be able to make clear decisions under pressure, and manage a demanding workload, expectations and priorities to yield results.

To apply for the role, please submit an up-to-date CV and covering letter including a supporting statement of no more than 2 sides of A4 outlining your suitability for the role according to the person specification. Please send your application to: hr@plunkett.co.uk.

Deadline for applications is Monday 23 January 2023, with interviews expected to be week commencing the 30 January 2023.
