Plunkett UK is looking for up to two Trustees who share our values and vision to join our Board.
We are looking for up to two Trustees with a genuine commitment to community businesses, a clear understanding of rural issues, interest in innovative and new ways of working, to help move the charity forwards at an exciting time in its growth and evolution.
Plunkett is committed to being reflective of the inclusive communities we serve. You don’t need to have previous trustee experience, we value personal expertise and lived experience – your personal characteristics and life outside of work – as well as your technical expertise and career history. We believe that a diversity of experience and expertise makes us a stronger organisation.
Following a review of our current skills mix and expertise, we are particularly interested in applications from people with a good understanding of the wider social economy ecosystem in Scotland in which Plunkett and our network of community businesses are part of.
We are also seeking applications from across the UK from people bringing insight of the fundraising landscape for charities either in the context of traditional Trust and Foundation fundraising, or with an understanding of corporate partnerships and consultancy opportunities.
