The session starts with an introduction to raising money from within your community led by Plunkett Foundation Adviser, Helen Melia, and is followed by a practical session on community shares led by Isla McCulloch, Programme Manager for Community Shares at Co-operatives UK, who will discuss developing your share documents.
We also have Powerpoint presentations for two further related sessions (please email alison.macklin@plunkett.co.uk if you would like to be sent these):
1. Crowdfunder – a practical session on using the platform, led by Bertie Herrtage from Crowdfunder
2. Community fundraising – how to galvanise your community – successful examples and ideas from within the sector, led by Plunkett Foundation Adviser, Charlotte Foster
This event was held on 26th March 2020 and was funded through the More than a Pub programme, with thanks to Power to Change and the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government. The webinar is pub themed but suitable for all community business across the UK.
