This webinar outlines the key role of a Secretary, including the annual responsibilities and how the job relates to other committee positions. Being a Secretary of an organisation is a legal position that has a number of defined responsibilities to ensure that the committee and organisation functions properly. The Secretary is responsible for the efficient administration of a company, particularly with regard to ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements, and that decisions of the board of directors are implemented. Despite the name, the role is not clerical or secretarial.
